2012 Staten Island NAACP Black College Fair

FAMU NY Alumni Association will be participating again this year.

The fair will be held on Saturday January 28, 2012 from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Ralph R. McKee High School, 290 St. Marks Place, Staten Island, NY.  If you would like to come out and show your support and speak to students about your experience as a proud alum, contact famunyaa.2ndvp@gmail.com.

FAMU NY Alumni General Body Meeting/Bowling Social

On Sunday January 29, 2012 join us at Frames Bowling Lounge for our first social of the new year.  This is a great opportunity to re-engage with the FAMU NY Chapter of the Alumni Association and bring your ideas and suggestions for the upcoming year.  We truly enjoy meeting new Rattlers and making new friends at all our events. 

MONTHLY HAPPY HOUR FEBRUARY 17, 2012 6:00 pm-8:00pm

That's right it's our first happy hour of the new year. We are going to relax and relate with our fellow NYC Rattlers.  We have also invited the FSU Black Alumni group to come and join in the fun.

Location-Village Pourhouse 64 3rd Avenue at 11th Street, New York, NY.

Happy Hour drink specials extended until 8:00 pm.

FAMU NY Alumni and Friends Ski Trip 2012 

Its that time of year again,ski season.  We have a great opportunity for those seasoned on the slopes as well as those who have never tried the sport.  Its a one day trip, easily accessible from the city.  All are invited all are welcome.  If 15 sign up in advance, we will qualify for a discount from the resort.  To sign up email famunyaa.1stvp@gmail.com.

Time - 9:30 am to 4:30 pm

Location- Mountain Creek Ski Resort, 200 Route 94, Vernon, NJ 07462 

Transportation from Port Authority Bus Terminal Gate 326 leaves at 7:30 am departs from Mountain Creek at 4:30 pm arriving back in NYC at 6:20 pm.   

Roundtrip fare from the Port Authority Bus Terminal is $25.50. Ski lift ticket prices range based on package needed. Email famunyaa.1stvp@gmail.com to sign up.
